can't believe how much pain/discomfort i still have 14 months post-op, good days are very few coupled with nasty flare up of IBS didn't help last week. Before i hear mutterings, i have an appointment booked tomorrow evening with my doctor - tbh, i really don't think there is much she can do/suggest apart from tell me to lose (lots of) weight and ( Read more... ) -

Looks like Florence doesn't seem keen on the idea on being a mum, she is due this weekend but apart from a small swelling to the side, she's either been stuffing her face these past couple of weeks or she is going to do the same trick as her mum and wait till the last minute ( Read more... ) -
just chilling
Today, apart from the usual ratty cage checks etc, some washing and sorting out some paperwork, i have done nothing - such bliss! History channel has been abandoned as has National Geographic, instead i managed to catch up with some of my recorded programes - such bliss. Hawkeye and stuff
went to see the lovely aussie this morning to have his tail tidied up, which meant snipping back the damaged part and sewing up the ends, has to go back next monday for a check up. Now, i know everything has gone up these days, but considering Hawkeye is on Baytril (which i have already at home, so no need for vet to give us) the consultation from ( Read more... ) -
panic and guilt
Had to get Hawkeye to the vets this morning, it would seem he had trapped his tail in the tiny gap between the shelf and piece of metal that supports the shelf in the Ferret Nation and has a result has managed to deglove just over an inch of his tail - after checking him over this morning, weighing him (700g) and listening to his chest, he's now ( Read more... )
