Why was Facebook so successful I queried the webiverse. Some of the top answers were that it contained "hot triggers" which induced people to interact with its content, because it is "real" and because it is easy on the eyes. For what ever reason, it has totally beaten down all the other social websites and taken on total world domination ( Read more... )

Now you have to have facebook for a lot of things, or too bad, you are not welcome. Personally I don't like many sites sharing a password. I have always used a different one everywhere I went, and a variety of usernames too, being the conspiracy theorist that I am. So I had a song stuck in my head. Nothing unusual about that, it happens to most of us. Thing is, this song was old, so old I had no idea what it was. I knew there was a search by music website, but you have to have a microphone. Well, I had bought a head set for a computer class I took a few years ago, and we never needed it. It matters so much, not having to go out in the rain, after years and years of working outside, in the rain, the cold and the heat, at all hours of the day and night, and I am done with it. And although it may be boring to sit home, I am exceedingly grateful to not have to go out in the weather unless I actually want to.
