i went to my first christening yesterday. i suppose it was basically what i expected, although i didn't think it would take nearly an hour. it was nice though, and johanna behaved beautifully. she really is a happy baby. can't say the same for justin's niece though. little girl (i think she was maybe 2 or 3) talked and wailed throughout the whole ( Read more... ) -

johanna's christening is tomorrow. what do you even wear to a christening? is it a fancy affair, or not so much? *sigh* i have no idea. i guess i'll just wing it, or (better option) maybe when i meet up with mary later on i will ask. that's probably a smarter idea ( Read more... ) -

i need to wear high heels more often. or maybe just these gold ones i picked up.. before tonight i have never gotten more compliments on my shoes or feet. it was craziness. felt good, though ( Read more... ) -

since i've had the same AIM screen name for quite awhile now i figured it's time for an update. so i made a new one this morning, jad0re nicole. i'll still use the old one (for awhile) but only as a secondary.

so far esthetics is pretty damn badass. the first day of class was somewhat uneventful, watched a couple videos, filled out paperwork, watched our teacher give one of the senior girls a demo facial, then got one ourselves, and had some time to do a bit of bookwork. the second day mrs c. informed us (new girls) that we'd be performing back facials ( ( Read more... ) -
happy fireworks day
so yep. another independence day has come and gone. nothing terribly exciting happened, really. this afternoon i hit the chinese buffet with murray and his lady, then went over to mary's parents' place for a bbq, and later on watched a fireworks display from the end of my block. wooo excitement ( Read more... ) -
