Nothing mind blowing here today, but I must announce that finally after a year, I finished one of many projects I never got around to completing.

A sign post up ahead, your next stop... )

That is amazing...amazingly creepy as well. Cripes dolls are so wicked looking.

I still wonder why they made a doll with this face, it's very menacing looking. Most people that have seen it at my house don't know it's from the Twilight Zone, but at least one always says "What the fuck is up with that doll?" Everyone has to have at least one creepy doll in their house by the time they're 70. I just have a head start.

LOL that is ridiculous. I would say it might be worth the cash though! One of my friends had this creepy giant doll that looked exactly like her and she'd always leave it sitting in closets and bathrooms around the house to scare people...I can only imagine what you could accomplish with Talky Tina.

It was definitely worth all the costs, especially since I've wanted one for so long. I've already hid it in the shower late at night and once in the cereal cabinet. I've heard "Son-of-a-bitch Meredith!" enough to know I should probably knock it off.
I placed her in a chair in my room right by the door with her head turned looking down the stairs. I love that it's so creepy

I slept so good the day I finished it, I think I had a sense of relief I actually got something done. I can't say the same for the bajillion crochet blankets I started and never finished..they can stay in the closet

hahaha. I have about 3 crochet blankets started. I really want my granny square Halloween one finished, but I pull it out, sew a few squares together and then put it back because I can't stand the clutter.
although, my pink and burgundy shell stitch one is sitting under my nightstand. it's been there for a while.
the damn things are so hard to get back into once you put them down for more than a day.

That's exactly why I never finished projects, I set it aside and then realize the room is a mess and shove it away somewhere. I started a burgundy and teal square blanket 2 years ago, but the squares were so complex and you had to change the yarn so many times while doing it that I got to 20 squares and gave up..I think I need somewhere around 100 to make the blanket.
Crocheting is one of those hobbies that I really have to be bored out of my mind and can't find a single thing else to do in order to do that. I wish I could get into it just so I can get rid of all the damn yarn I have hanging around.
