Family can be both awesome and complicated. I was closer to my grandmother than my mom, but then she passed when I was seven and everything changed. It wasn't until I was much older that I discovered the woman who hung my moon had been sleeping with a married man - my grandfather! - and my dad and three brothers were all born out of wedlock. I wish she had lived longer so I could have soaked up all the stories she must have had to tell!

I really enjoyed this, and I would like to hear more about your family. I bet there are some interesting stories. I loved the ending, with Geno's ashes.
