Cirkus Annex Role Call

Hey, are you going to this year's Firefly and camping with Cirkus Camp, or Cirkus Annex?
Sound off, please. I'm trying to get my ducks in a row in terms of some planning and coordinating in terms of tools, food, and other camping needs.

i'm not sure i need anything planned or coordinated though; i tend to pitch my tent wherever is dry within reasonable distance to the kitchen area and rig, and i don't think cirkus is planning on doing shared/planned meals, but more of a stone-soup potluck style.

This is fairly loose planning.
If I've learned anything from previous Firefly's, too much planning can be as helpful as none. I'm planning on bringing food that I mostly don't have to cook, a folding camp shovel, and a machete. I'm planning on bringing less gear/stuff, and intend to have more fun, less stress. I've had too much stress lately.

Yeah, between all that's happened to me in the last year, both leading up to owning a house, and now the extra work that it entails? I need a little less stress and a bunch more relaxation.

A-yup. I'm planning on bringing the rain structure thing you all have met before, a white gas lantern, and the cookstove you all have met before.

At the first work weekend, I marked out a spot below the field that should fit that stuff, and is fairly near where cirkus is setting up their kitchen. So we'll see how wet it actually looks when we get there.

Just an FYI, fennel has asked if he can join our motley group, in terms of camping. I told him we seemed to be about as free form as always, and only pointed him at you, because I know you've done a lot of work in terms of scouting. I told him, I can't see a single reason why not. He's not depending on anyone to feed him, just seems to want a chill place to camp, with folks he's comfy with.
