Steam cleaner?

This is a long shot I'm sure, but do any of you lovely folks who are local to Greater Boston/Somerville have a steam cleaner? It looks like my sweetie B, and his roomie are going to move in for December and the downstairs really needs to have the carpets cleaned. I'm not adverse to renting a steam cleaner myself, but figured it couldn't hurt to ask

I have a small handheld steam cleaner that I use for bath tile cleaning and cloth steaming, but for carpet cleaning I would rent a carpet cleaner. It has much bigger water capacity, and it also sucks out the muck on the second pass (at least the ones I used).

We have a full-on carpet cleaner machine. We also have a door you guys wanted to use. Come pick up both? :)

I think part of the problem with the breathing is needing an additional humidifier in the winter. We already have a Venta Air Washer in the bedroom, but I've had a few nosebleeds and continual stuffy nose this past week or so. :(

I'm home now, but need to leave for work soon. However, there's a lock box key (for when we lock ourselves out). If you or Ro call me later, I'll give you the current combo and tell you where to find the carpet cleaner and the door. I believe both are in the basement, but I'll check before I go.
