I added a bit more spice then they did, and I added 4 cups of chicken broth. If you use fresh pumpkin like the recipe calls for, rather then do the oven method, you could do as I did, and put it in a crock pot instead. I let it cook on low for 8 hours. I find it's much easier once you get to the blender step this way, plus you don't have to hang around the house while it's cooking. It can be done, overnight. This way, the pumpkin flesh just almost falls away from the skin. All you need to do is scoop it away from the skin with a metal spoon. I'm lucky in the fact that with the Super 88 only a few blocks away, coconut milk and curry paste are easy to get. Still, if you have any Indian corner markets around, they would have those ingredient. That or the so-called "ethinic" section of your local Supermarket. Enjoy!
