Which is why chestertodd and I are LEAVING TOWN for the entire week of the RNC. K's office is directly above Penn Station/MSG, and employees have already been told not to bother coming into work that week...we didn't need much nudging, so off to PTown with us!

Heck, maybe that will be a good excuse for me to finally go to P-town. I've living in this area for going on 5 years now, and have yet to pay P-town a visit.

I have mixed feelings about the place. Generally they treat me pretty shabby in Ptown, so I'm looking forward to getting away!

It pisses me off, too, and I'm not sure how likely I am to get to work every day because of all the hassle.
But the idea has been put out to put embarrassing things in the bag to be inspected--a nice big sparkly dildo or something they'll be too red-faced to touch. Make it interesting for both the searchers and the searchees. ;) But not in a way they can arrest you for.

medics have been using fishing vests to avoid these sorts of things at major events...the more cargo pockets the better...
