Four nights ago sleep was interrupted by a sudden chill that had overcome my body. This was notable given the two downer blankets and numerous sheets that were piled on top and given my tendency to relate how suited toward the cold my body is.. Sweat began to form on my brow and as my gaze wandered about the room it was then I realized something ( Read more... )

sounds like a panic attack - but if you were really sick, it could have just been a bad fever. i really hope you are feeling better. that sounded terrible.

It was and I keep feeling like I've failed to convey just how terrifying the experience actually was. I'm stuffed up and a bit drained of energy almost a week later, but fortunately haven't had any episodes like that night since then.

I'll have to make sure to never be alone while drugged out of my mind or making decisions with global ramifications then.

I've been thinking a lot about a few tattoos. I still need cherry blossoms, but I don't know where, and I want to get (cheesily enough) tattoos of the symbol for the Empire and the Rebellion on opposite sides of my body.

Is it possible this was still the realm between sleep and wake? The actual anglo-saxon root of the word 'mare', from 'nightmare', means 'dark-demon,' a spirit of that can be from object possession that tugs at the bed sheets and always hovers directly above. I may have already shared that with you, I can't particularly remember, though I wish the best your way no matter what caused it.

I've tried calling your land line a few times this week and each time it goes straight to a voicemail that I don't recognize. (?) Last four digits are still 5637?

Sleep Paralysis can have a hallucinatory element. Or perhaps you accidentally tripped on DXM? Otherwise this is the most poetic and uneventful ghost story ever. And I like your NO FASCIST USA!
