Now I have the answer for #2:
Siberia, by Cole Porter. It's from this odd musical called Silk Stockings, in which a communist girl travels to France on government business. It's proving nearly impossible to locate the lyrics online, but I own the movie, and can assure you that there is such a song. The basic premise is these three men who are sarcastically singing about what a nice place Siberia is.
