I found a recent article in our local newspaper regarding Dow Chemical. Apparently the plant has been leaking Vinyl Chloride into our drinking water. Vinyl Chloride is a known carcinogen and has a host of bad health effects. The EPA monitors it (poorly, like everything else the EPA monitors), and one of their tests exceeded the threshold.
