[Mitsuhide seems calm. A little sleepy as well, perhaps, and there is a small smile on his face. The SFC is placed on the surface in front of him, so that he polish his katana whilst making the post.]
[His first statement is simply:]
I am lucky to be here.
[A pause, and he moves on, frowning briefly.]The city seems to be a little... well, quiet

[He turns the SFC off. Even though he has plenty of time, he still arrives at the Lamufao early.]

Lea.
[A smile and a bow of the head in greeting.]
Are you ready? Several shops around here hold the kinds of weapons I described to you.

[Tired but excited, and in the end, the latter wins out.]
You called 'em... Wind and fire wheels, right?

[He taps the leather satchel on his side briefly.]
I have done quite a bit of research, which you can take with you when we have found a good pair of weapons for you to begin with.
[He smiles.]
Considering how you fight already, I doubt it will take much adjustment of your style to fit them.

[He nods confidently.]
Thanks for helping me out like this. So, um, where to? You said there was more than one shop, right?

[Mitsuhide nods, starts to walk and beckons to Lea to follow.]
I have two specifically in mind. One here on the plaza, and the one I was present in when you first contacted me. They did not have any at the time, but I was assured they could locate some. A few different designs will need to be looked at so you can find one that appeals to you most.
[His voice is very professional now.]
Of course, it is possible that the first one you see will appeal to you. There is always a chance.

I don't wanna be too hasty or anything... This is important. I figure I should probably take a look at everything, just to be double sure I'm getting it right.
[It's not often he's this serious, but he realizes just how serious the situation in Vatheon can be. This isn't the time for joking.]
What's the difference between the two shops?
Reply
[A little smile.]
The first stocks weapons that could come from any world. The second stocks weapons that seem as if they originated in my world. Many of those possess elemental properties that can be manipulated by the wielder, with practice.
[A short moment of silence, until they stop outside the first destination. Mitsuhide turns, draws his own sword and frowns for a moment. A brief crackle of what looks like lightning runs along it.]
Like this.

[Is there anything else to say? Lea almost wants to say that they should skip the first store entirely, but the compliment makes him want to prove himself. No one ever calls him wise or smart or... anything, really. Not usually.]
So, uh, how long have you practiced with that?
[He pushes open the door to the shop.]
Reply
I have trained with the blade since my youth, with this sword for seven years, and with this skill for just a little longer than that.
[He smiles reassuringly.]
Drawing out an element from a charged weapon is not too hard, especially if you have natural skill with weapons. Channelling it through your attacks and learning to increase its power takes a lot more time, and plenty of practise. If the weapon you settle on is one such weapon, however, I will be able to guide you.
[That said, he moves over to talk to the shop owner. The man nods and moves into the back area of the shop for a while.]

Seven years... Man, I have a lot of catching up to do. Can't just skimp on practicing...
[For a moment, he loses himself in thought, staring blankly until he shakes his head to snap out of it.]
But it's an advantage, right? Gives you an edge when you're fighting against people who don't have something like that.

That is most certainly true. As well as inflicting more damage than a normal blow, different elements have different effects.... one highly skilled at using ice-element weapons, for example, can freeze an enemy in place.
[The shop keeper comes back out with several boxes, which he places on the counter. Mitsuhides smiles, walks over and gestures to Lea to follow.]
He has brought out several for you to look at.
[He opens a box himself, and draws out one of a pair of very basic wind-and-fire wheels. It is an unadorned, bladed ring with a padded grip.]
I am told this is the simplest model they have.

He's trying to figure out the weight, how different holding this is to holding one of his frisbees. Heavier, too. But if it's simple, it's probably not the heaviest they can get.]
So they can get more elaborate?
Reply
[Mitsuhide examines another box, and pulls out an example. The blades on this one are cut a little differently, and there are beautiful decorations engraved across it.]
Sometimes a weapon is made more elaborate simply to make it beautiful, but sometimes to alter how it is used, or how it damages your opponent. It will often make it heavier is well. You need to judge what the right combination would be for you.

How can you tell?
[He's already reaching for the other half to that set, seeing how differently each one feels in both his hands.]
I mean, which ones are for show and stuff, and which ones actually do something?
Reply
[He nods.]
Those for show are usually quite obviously unwieldy in form. They might be overly heavy, or have additional elements that make it harder to cut efficiently. Some of the designs I came across for Wind-and-fire wheels had, for example, spikes added... but such additions would make it impossible for the blades to hit your opponnent properly.
