Please forgive my lame attempt to sound like Annie Proulx's version of a Wyoming ranch-country narrator. Rest assured I do not consider myself to have succeeded. Mmm, this is lovely. A different perspective than I've seen in most stories, which is really refreshing at this point. Plus some good character insight. Nicely done. :)
