It's so sad how true this is.. in fact I had to help my mother in law find Christmas cards that only said "Seasons Greetings" and "Happy Holidays" because some of the people she sends cards to are really against the whole religion aspect of it all.. :(

As someone who doesn't have a personal fondness for organized religion, I can say this: I agree 100% with you. I'm so sick and tired of the wants of the few outweighing the personal needs of the many. I appreciate and respect every single person that has chosen to associate with a particular faith. I appreciate and respect those that continue those faiths and make them available for others to bring into their lives. Do I believe in God - yup - you bet I do. Well, I disagree with Mr. Cavuto on this issue:

A tiny sliver of Americans are free not to like religion, but they cannot dictate life for the overwhelming majority who do. Yet they have and they do.

They make us afraid to say "God," even more afraid to say "Christmas."

They treat prayer as if it's a dirty word. But will defend to the death their right to utter all dirty words. It isn't about a "tiny sliver of Americans" not liking religion. It's about them AND those who have a religion other than the majority of Americans ( ... )

What I find wrong is that the vast majority of people do not know that Christmas has nothing whatsoever to do with the (supposed) birth of Jesus and that the christian churches (whether catholic, methodist, protestant, etc..) do nothing but feed & encourage this minsinformation.
