I have sold my house! It is currently under contract and should close soon. I was able to sell it to a friend of mine who buys houses and then rents them out. I got the price I was looking for which should help me pay off a couple of credit cards and take me along the goal of being debt free in about two years

If this is what you want, then I'm happy for you. It is sometimes necessary to take a step back in order to be able to move forward. I don't think debt is an issue, though, if one can learn how to make debt work for him. I hope this works out the way you wish.
