Sand Tarts

     I went to my friend LC's house this afternoon for cookie-baking, and had fun in addition to making a batch of sand tarts.  LC invited her friend Carol as well, whom I had never met before, so I got to get acquainted with someone new.  We played Christmas CDs and just generally had a good time.  I have to admit that I don't do my best baking in

I laughed at your description of cream the butter and flour together. It is an unusual step in the cookie-baking process, but I'm glad it didn't effect the taste of the finished product. Sandy (AKA Snickerdoodle Sandtart) very much approves of your choice of cookies to bake.

It might be even better if Sandy, or anyone, would come eat some of these sand tarts so I don't finish them all off in 24 hours.

Hmmm! I love sandtarts. Enjoy them but I hope you are able to resist eating them all at once.

I've done OK, I guess. I spent much of the day working on the video, which kept me out of the kitchen, and I also went to the grocery store so there's now healthier food available when I get hungry.
