Hey. This might be a weird question, but I'm curious. Since your challenges are open-ended now, does that I could go back and use prompts from a year ago if I wanted to?

No RPF, but what about shows like Hannah Montana and Jonas where the characters have different last names but the same first names?

Hannah Montana is a fictional tv show about a girl named "Miley Stewart" and her alter-ego "Hannah Montana". No where in a drabble/ficlet/etc written for this community should a girl/character named "Miley Cyrus" appear.

Can you write original fiction rather than fanfic?

Yes, just remember to mention that in the header and to tag it with "original works" tag.

Weird question, but I didn't see it covered. I've found one challenge prompt that gave me ideas for two separate fics, in two separate fandoms. Can I write two stories for one prompt? We're not restricted to writing just one story for any given prompt, are we?

Also, with the open challenge -- do we have to write all of our stories for that & post them by the time the next weekly challenge prompt is posted?

Nope, you can write as many drabbles or ficlets as you want for each prompt.

And no, you can post responses to any prompt at any time. It is just during the Open Challenge (and holiday) we don't post new prompts...it's sort of like a chance to go back and see what you missed over the last year.

This might be a cheeky question, but would you object to an RPG advert here? It's a panfandom, so we're looking to appeal to as many writers as possible. I realize it's a long shot, but I thought I would ask anyway, since I didn't see anything specifically prohibiting it.
