Children's Service Society
Part of me died today. My calling ended. My calling/work, Children's Service Society, discontinued its adoption placements program today. We are celebrating our 125th year this year and we had to discontinuing a legacy. I am sad that I no longer work with such a wonderful agency and for such a wonderful cause, but I am sadder about our waiting ( Read more... ) -
To my Grandma.
My grandma died on Saturday. She was 99 years old. She was healthy physically and mentally to the end (not so much physically toward the very end). She ate only chocolate the last few weeks of her life.
