I've been going to funerals since I was 5. My mother's family is huge, and full of old, unhealthy Italians. Only a few of them have actually been painful for me, like my grandmother, Aunt, my dads best friend and my cousin who was only 3 months. I think part of being an adult is detaching yourself from your family's failures. I need to stop expecting consistency out of people who have been inconsistent my entire life, and focus on the people who have been. I have worked hard for the life I have now, and finally things are easy. I can't keep dwelling on people I love who just can't seem ( Read more... ) -

I love that I've had this journal since I was Cam's age. I just read back to 2003 and it was pretty cute. I was pretty gay and thought I was pretty cool, but the cutest thing is that Katie, Brandy, Natalie and Amy are still my bestfriends.
