Dinner Conversation:
(Prior to this, my dad and I were speaking in Spanish because of some wrapper with both English and Spanish instructions on it).

Michelle:  Oo! Next year, I'll be able to talk Spanish too!
Dad:  Yeah, you'll be able to talk Spanish, but the question is whether or not you'll be able to SPEAK English.

So... I got my permit!! Heck yes.  My mom let me drive home from Shrewsbury, and we did some laps in the Home Depot parking lot.  Apparently I'm bad at braking.  Like really bad.  Like "I'm Melissa and if you drive with me I will slam your face into the seat because I'm that bad at braking gradually" bad.  Oh well.
