Usually when I hear about all the bullshit that is happening with national politics and the Bush administration (and I won't waste time recounting) I get upset. Don't! Menendez is the only democrat in the house in danger of losing his seat!
Now that I got the yelling out of the way... Politics have to be a means to an end. I vote Democrat so these things won't happen. I don't vote democrat because I like them. I want them to do everything in their power to stand up for the downtrodden. When they take an action that says, "I don't give a shit," it means they no longer serve a purpose. I think Corzine pushing Codey out of the way, then giving his Senate seat to Menendez, who everyone knew was no better than say the Torch, was my last dance with the New Jersey democrats.
