Ted Kennedy died.It was a long time coming, but I'd hoped he would at least get to see health care reform enacted before he passed. I am safely in New Hampshire, sitting by the lakeside and sipping a mint julep in honor of my late grandfather (with fresh mint leaves, Jim Beam, ice, and orange juice substituting for water and sugar.) It's good to see the family, even if there's a somber event to deal with on Saturday.

My brother and I drove up to my grandmother's house in Boynton this evening to visit relatives visiting from out of town.
