Polygamy? But one of Prop 8's biggest sponsors was the Mormon Church! Maybe they're still bitter about the mainstream LDS Church members losing their ability to take multiple wives since 1890 and are taking it out on a minority group?

And don't forget the "straight roommates will use gay marriage to game the insurance industry" argument. 'Cuz convenience marriages don't already exist between gay men and lesbians.

I wonder, once homosexuals are finally granted equal rights, what group will be marginalized and persecuted next? An ethnic minority? Polygamists? Political refugees? Pedophiles? Furries?

I hope it's Furries. Everybody who knows what they are already hates them, but nobody's actually denying them equal protection under the law. They're a good catchall group for people who want to feel like the world is against them but don't want to endure any actual discrimination.
