Four full tumbler glasses of vodka and orange later Mulder had passed out on his couch. What he would dream of would only increase his pain and suffering. As he tossed and turned he fell into a deep sleep, full of uncertanty.
“Fox,” she glided along the floor like an angel, “Fox, where are you?”
“I'm here Monica,” he answered. He moved closer to her and held out his hand for her to take.
The mood shifted, and he was standing on a cliff face.
“Monica!” he was yelling at the top of his lungs. “Monica, watch out!”
Then she fell, and the scene changed.
Kisses, hot and heavy, hands flying everywhere and nowhere at the same time. “Monica,” he cried out...he was in heaven. Would he finally be allowed release?
No...the scene would change once more. “How's she doing?” Mulder asked a man without a face.
“It's not looking good,” he said, shaking his faceless head. “I'd call the family.”
Mulder sat down and cried, but then the scene changed again.
Monica was sliding on her jeans, looking at him with love in her eyes, “we should do that gain sometime.”
Then he woke up.
