I still don't fully understand this holiday.

It's really not a "holiday," though many refer to it as that. In most places, it's merely a corporate gimmick for people to buy those they care for cards and chocolate, using the guise of love as a reason to needlessly spend money.

I suppose that doesn't apply here, although it does sound like it could be fun.

I suppose. Many genuinely do, and I suppose in a city such as this, it would have to be that way.

We'll have to make due. I never specifically accepted orders from Ky Kiske in the first place, so I don't see any more issues amongst us than we already had: Most of us need to learn to work without without needing a finger pointing to where to start and being commanded. If you've chosen this job, you shouldn't have to be forced to do it.

However, it might be best to choose someone else to fill that place. It has to be someone active and assertive, otherwise I have no confidence in things staying together.

I think that poses as part of the problem. There's very little organization, and if one doesn't feel they should be obligated to doing the job, they've certainly chosen the wrong field in a city laden with crime.

I agree someone should fill the place. However, I believe members of the force should be the one to actually make that decision.

It does. It seems that it's hard to get a lot of us to agree on a plan of action. Rather than nothing, I would rather do what's best. As for obligation, what I mean is that they choose not to do anything until pushed. They should be ready, and willing, to do anything in their power to help.

Yes. We'll have to wait for more of them to respond. Hopefully there will be more responses than I expect.

Perhaps we should have a word with the current members of the force to see who is willing to cooperate at all times. We cannot run efficiently if there's a lack of willingness to participate.

I hope for the same.

It's not really a distraction so much as a good excuse to love you as any, darling.

I do not understand the observance myself, but agreed. I do not believe such things to be frivolous if they lift the spirits of the citizenry.

Indeed, however it seems more people are complaining about it than anything else.

The complaints are simply another form of relieving stress for some. I generally pay them no mind unless there is something that can be done about the issue.

I can't say I disagree. It was merely an observation, rather than a complaint of my own.

That is unfortunate. However, in thinking about it, I cannot see an easy replacement for him.

An easy one? Unlikely, though I'm sure there is someone on the force who could do a sufficient job.

I would suggest either Minato or Gabranth. Both have leadership qualities and are not overly impulsive.

Both suggestions are viable options. I'd suggest bringing it up with the rest of the force.
