Day 4: Should we do something about that carpet?
Day 4: If there is one feature of this horse trailer that I am not particularly excited about it is the under-manger tack area. I would have ~almost! ~ spent an extra $1k to get a newer trailer just to avoid this historically back-spasm-inducing and super-frustrating storage area. Day 5 + 6: Looking at the details and learning to spray paint
With several days of sanding and working along the outside of the '87 Circle J 2-horse bumper pull trailer and getting used to the process, I decided that I wanted to go back and really look at right-hand side jockey door section that we had skipped over when we first started. Day 3: Removing inside padding and more sanding
On day three I decided to take all the padding out off the inside walls. G had taken two panesl off (one off each jockey doro) and it was clear that there was rust hiding under these as well. Day 1, 2, 3: Let's start having fun!
There is always so much new stuff to learn when taking on a new project ... that said, my shopping list looked fairly modest. I went to the local ACE Hardware with a small list of things that I determined I needed.
1. Rustoleum Spray Primer
2. Rustoleum Spray Paint
3. Various Sandpaper/ Sanding sponges
4. Green maksing tape

What to do with a trailer when you don't have a pony?

a new ride ..
Part of my plan this year is taking advantage of my proximity to work as well as exploiting the artistic talents of my boyfriend.
so with these two goals in mind, it is with great joy that I was able to see the fruits of my labor last week when I got to ride it for the 1st commute.

Am smart! Yay!
You know what is nice? Getting confirmation that you DO know what you are talking about when it comes to coding and database design. I mean, yeah, I dabbled in coding and I've worked with multiple database platforms but it's still nice to get kudos from the actual programmers for not presenting them with an impossible request just because someone ( Read more... )
