Knowing me, do you really believe that I'm making my decision to teach in full knowledge of it dooming me to a life of bachelordom? Please. You and I both know not all women care about bank accounts. But you'd be a fool to think it doesn't come up

amen. amenamenamen.
Also: your job isnt necessarily who you are. the first thing to come along isnt going to be your Barbie Dreamjob. Maybe even the second or third. The world is huge, and everyone needs jobs. And don't be that guy who says "ohmygawd, i work in a cubicle, my life is overrrrrr!!!" because, guess what Chris works in? A cubicle! And hes happy. And you want his job. He does his work, and then he makes good use of the time left over. Your job isnt necessarily who you are. Especially when you are in yur twenties. Its what you do, but not what you are.

Stop being silly. The vast majority of male teachers somehow manage to get married. AMAZING BUT TRUE!
I love you, you goofball.
