My life is brilliant.

I wish something unbelievably and enthrallingly exciting would happen.

Today the sun is shining and the snow is melting. The sky seems bluer and clearer than it has ever been, and there is a calm, crisp silence in the air that hangs on you as you walk through it. Today I had a stint at experiencing the Jungian principle of synchronicity. It's spookier than the way they write about it in books and Pete Chadwick is really starting to freak me out now.

But perhaps it's just a coincidence. Of course, I don't really believe that.

I'm so hungry right now, and I'd love to eat a big mountain of Turkish food.

But I have a lecture at 5pm and I won't be home till 6:30. I'll be walking home in the dark and possibly under the rain. It will be cold and unsmiling people will be walking past me.

Life is so unfair sometimes.

Retrospectively, I can see how I have changed in the last few years. I don't try to be part of the crowd any more because it's a waste of time. I have never been and will never be one of them. I will never be one of you.
