Jen most definately did not try to use clay to make a mold of her hands, fail miserably, then try using wax (which makes a much better imprint) only to get her hand stuck in the mold.
she also did not learn that candle wax cannot be microwaved, and her kitchen is certainly not in a mess and does not smell of latex.

Yay for crafts, and utter mess! I didn't know you couldn't microwave candle wax, although I suppose it's because it has no water in it. What does happen?

Incidentally, I absolutely must poke you about Mouse Guard mice. But I'll wait until I see you in person.

Not that i did.... but i would think if you tried to microwave candle wax with a veiw to re-melting it, you'd have a loud flash and a glowing amount of badness inside the dense part of the wax, and then you stop the microwave because this isn't brainiac you know.....
