There is a new dorm being built outside my window. They haven't put the roof on it yet, so when it snowed last week the top floor was completely covered. I like the idea of there being snow inside the building. What is the polite way to tell people that someone close to you has died? You know that you have to bring it up sometimes, but how can you segue into something like that?
