Turns out there wasn't anything wrong with the car itself, but the battery had died. I'd had it replaced *just* over 18 months ago, so my mechanic is haggling about warranty cut with his supplier now. New battery, car's back, everything else with it is ok.

Sektit con mission accomplished. Pictures after the weekend sometime.

Car overheated on the 10 this morning on the way into work. Managed to eek it in to my mechanic; coolant resevior was bone dry and there was burning coolant smell. Yay. The Check engine light never came on, though, so it's probably just limited to the cooling system. My guess is either a broken hose or the radiator managed to hole itself ( Read more... )

Wooo! Tuncer and Rotini finished Maria Jenkins tonight. Halfway to level 47, and we both scored Portal Jokey along the way. Tyrant was almost a disaster, but we managed to pull it out at the last second.

Today marks 12 years since I moved to LA. That's one-third of my life spent in Los Angeles.

I don't have a point, really. Just marking the spot.
