Sometimes, it occurred to Kaylee that she was no good at most girlie-type things.

Kaylee stretched out over Ned, as she did most mornings. There was a glittery pink prom dress slung over her chair, unlike most mornings.
But it was still very different from most mornings. Even moreso than they thought.

IT WAS THE DAY OF THE DANCE!! Kaylee tried not to actually vibrate out of her shoes as she waited for Ned. Her dress might get wrecked, or her hair might get mussed.
So, she was busily touching up her makeup and asking Popples how she looked.
Popples, being a hedgehog, didn't care.

Given that it was not a Tuesday, Kaylee wasn't awake yet.
She was sort of drifting in and out of consciousness, and she was vaguely aware that she'd had a very strange dream about wearing entirely too much black and swearing a lot. And Amber had tried to eat her. And Ned had had idiotic pants.
