As I have sworn at least three times before this, I plan to take a break from fandom until next August. I'm hoping posting this will at least give it some validity in my mind. Observe:

I keep retiring, it's like my favorite pastime. And thn coming back with exceptionally long fic. And yeah, I have a rarely used ao3 account that I'm just getting the hang of these dark days.

You know me better than anyone, so why pretend? I give it two weeks, tops, before I come crawling back. And yeah, holidays and my textbooks don't mingle well together- I think I lost half of them when I was rooting around for my copy of the Finkler Question.

Oh lovely candygramme of the oddly hypnotic icons, I wish I could stay as well, but duty calls. Duty happens to sound a lot like my mother telling me about my senior software engineer brother, so I must regretfully stop slacking and pick up the (slightly dusty from disuse) books.
