I feel inadequate

I don't understand viscosity or the many and varied idiosyncrasies therein. This would not be a problem, if only I wasn't five months away from the exam that will supposedly decide my entire life. Fuck fate and destiny, A/Levels are what's gonna kill ya.

So I do what I usually do when I'm depressed as all fuck: I stare at pretty pictures.

Martin Freeman is too adorable for words! Also, I totally feel your A-level pain. My daughter is doing IB which is a nail-biting angst-fest, but most of her friends are doing A-levels and are buckling under the pressure! Best of luck to you, babe, I'm sure you will do wonderfully, you are very eloquent and have an incredible way with words, I hope this translates to huge A-Level success! xx

Though you've succeeded wonderfully in making me feel better about myself in general (thanks, love <3) my eloquence is actually getting me in more trouble than it's worth. I'm in the Higher Mathematics stream, which means that it's an off day when I get to write actual words as subject matter.

Martin Freeman is painfully cute. As in, my fingers are itching to grab his ridiculous little face and smish it to shreds of rainbows and puppy love.

Yeah, I figured since you mentioned 'viscosity' ! But through your stories I can clearly see an intelligence that is not only confined with your literary talents so I am sure you will do wonderfully. My kid has Bio-Chem offers from some really good UK Uni's and is now freaking out to get the grades on her final IB exams. I gotta say, babe, I do not envy either of you, I would not relive those days for anything (I did SAT's back in the day) but I will say that I'm confident that you will both do brilliantly:)

xx

You're so lovely, I can't even. It's two am here, and I'm less disconsolate than I normally am at this hour, and that's all on you.

Your daughter sounds lucky. And smart. Those two things have been known to pull people through exams. <3
