Good Tofurkey day! In a dramatic reversal of last years feast, where a lot of friends from work were invited and didn't show, this year one was invited (and said she'd come) while others were busy. So, I found a rat I wanted at our local HSUS a while back. We were going on vacation and taking the girls, so it was bad timing. I couldn't have her. Hubby didn't want another rat, anyway! My special needs finch, Little Eddie OneWing, had an accident tonight. I got the kiddos a fluffy bird buddy a while back ( a soft, fabric tent marketed for birds to help them feel secure).
