Mom
My mother has been diagnosed with what the doctors first thought was Colon Cancer. It is not Colon Cancer, however. It is a rare type of internal squamous cell skin cancer. It's inoperable. It's stage 3. I'm scared to death.

The devastation is awful. I'm heartbroken for people who have lost everything. It's Katrina all over. I'm thankful that my family here is safe. But, right now I am overwhelmed.

I can't stand to hear a woman call her significant other "daddy". And I'm not talking about when women speak for their children to the Father of said children like this: "Daddy, sweet baby Tyler says he loves you."

Thanksgiving, home, soul-less assholes
We were supposed to go to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade tomorrow in the city, but we decided to just watch from home.
