It were hard to me to tell what weapon, but I think that sword is fit with Old-fashioned thing and with more other things.

Man, this is diffcult as I was waverng between many different options.Especially between gun, bombs and dagger.I will go with Knife/dagger but I may be way off the mark.I was wary to give you this vote as you state that you would want your victims to die quickly, and depending on how you use it, a dagger could draw out the process.However, it's an old fashioned type of weapon and something you can carry with you everywhere which can also be useful in other situations.Plus it fits your want of close combat.

You don't like dirty things, but you also like more old-fashioned. It's hard for me.
Old things are more dirty than modern things.
But i think, a knife could be your weapon. Old-fashioned and handy.
