Banks?

I need to find a new bank. My current bank, Wells Fargo, is sorta good enough, but too far away. I have to mail in any checks I get, so depositing money takes several days.

Always wanting to be the informed consumer, I started poking around online to find a "good" bank.

The banks themselves may be able to help you discern their good points. Plus, I believe they are all required under the Truth in Lending Act or something like it to disclose all their fees and associated costs. It'll take a bit more work, but you might be able to find something you like.

The bit about all negative comments and a "good" bank not existing are still pretty much true, though.

I wouldn't get a credit card from them (I've heard horror stories), but I like Bank of America. I don't know if it's out there yet, but I love their online banking system, and the people at the branches have been helpful--and they have all sorts of in-network ATMs.
