I'm showered, dressed, and almost ready to go A FREAKING HOUR EARLY. I just realized this, seeing that the times on my computer and alarm clock are different. Hellz.

I don't wanna go tonight, unless they're going to put me in a kiddie pool with a beverage of my choice and let me cue from there.

Olive's a great name for a person. Olive oil, olive leaf, olive skin, Popeye, all good. Olivia is nice but everyone names babies that now. It takes guts to name your kid Olive. It's a strong name.

I almost got named Lucy but my parents didn't want me to get teased. Do you have any almost-names?

Apparently sometime between Tuesday and now I hid the things I need to do my work today from myself. Wow.

Ohhh, I just found them. I knew making an LJ post would jog my brain. I'm not having coffee today.

This morning the great Nelly shared some wisdom with me that I shall hold close all day:

Fluffy clouds and a blue sky out my window and less than two hours to go before I'm out of here. At 4 I'm going to curl up in an infrared blanket, whatever that means, but I don't see how it could be anything but awesome.

I already short myself on sleep, wire myself on caffeine, and take various shortcuts around healthy eating. I don't see my friends or family enough, but I certainly put them before sleep and optimal meal planning and preparation ( Read more... )

I just was having a little (long) nap and dreamt a really subtly awesome cover of "Satin Chic," which I heard alone in a small, dark theatre. Damn that it wasn't 'for keeps.' I'm going to be in my bathroom getting ready to go out, singing, trying to find all those spots where the intervals were different.

Today I cried while on the phone with Apple tech support due to the stress of not being able to turn on my iBook and all it implied (losing iCal and iTunes might make me consider faking ritual suicide). I didn't hear about the battery recall when everyone else did, apparently. The very Canadian-sounding lady was really nice about it, though. My ( Read more... )
