Wow. So I've been falling behind. I have lots of games for you here, including one that isn't an Aggie ballgame! It's a AAA game between the Omaha Royals and Iowa Cubs. I went on a trip to Nebraska, so I caught that game in addition to watching the Aggies' series with the Cornhuskers.

I've been to four so far this season and by some miracle the Mariners have managed to win half of those despite an 8-10 home record. Um, yay! At least our ballpark is beautiful. :D

Did you follow the M's while you were here? Or the AAA club in Tacoma (Rainiers or Athletics depending when... )

:) This year has been interesting for the M's: truly amazing starting pitching (seriously, we may have the best overall staff in the majors) and truly atrocious hitting and fielding. It's the kind of baseball that punches in the gut.

I lived there twice in increments of two years each. I was actually born there, and then I lived there again when I was around ten. I wasn't a baseball fan then, but I did go to my first baseball game there when I got free tickets from a summer reading program. Tacoma Rainiers. I love the team name... and I'm sad to see that they changed their logo. :(

Oh, that sounds like my Aggies, so I know what you mean. We have a couple of great pitchers on our staff. Hitting with runners in scoring position and extra base hits have been a weakness this year, as has fielding. So many errors.

But there's always the knowledge that it's a long season and there's plenty of time to turn it around, right?

Mmhmm I do and I am! I'm so very proud of them! Can't wait to see more games on TV (considering I'm much too far away to be as lucky as you to see them in person)! So I enjoyed reading your recap of those games a lot.
