Because your feet hurt when you're standing up all day, or because you need something that's biohazard-proof?

I actually really like those shoes. I'd wear them myself. They're like Ug Boots for the thinking woman.

THINK OF ALL THE GREASE YOU COULD WALK IN WITHOUT SLIPPING!

like i said to chris, i kind of like them too. but they defeat one of my general life-goals which is: not to drive my OCD to new heights of ludicrousness.

you know, i wouldn't mind having some of those for rad work, except the point is not to be walking around impervious to radiation, but rather not to spill the radiation all over everywhere in the first place.

i just want something where, if i do get an attack of the clumsies, it won't soak into my sock. and my feet hurt too, and i'm just about worn through the sole and other parts of my current work shoes.

you could get some of those crazy "croc" things. or, i hear that "keen" shoes are really comfortable and i bet they make them in something waterproof.
