As much as I'd like to command enough interest to get people to review me personally (even though I'd probably not enjoy what they'd have to say), no, the two reviews mentioned above are pieces that I've written about two poetry books on Carcanet's roster; The Palace of Oblivion by Peter Davidson and Clarity or Death! by Jeffrey Wainwright.

The days are shrinking and unfit to wear. Now, just as the sun hits the pillow hard They turn on: luminous reindeer and stars - Buzzing quietly, inert in the air.
The gig on Friday night was my first for quite some time; almost a year ago I think, maybe even slightly longer. It was nerve-wracking to start off with.
