My car now sports duct-tape repairs...in two places. The mechanic wanted $140 per window to fix the weatherstripping, needed two days to order the parts from the dealer, and it's supposed to rain tomorrow. I decided to improvise. They don't call me White Trash Wendy for nothin ( Read more... )

Well, I had seen the torn weatherstripping, but I didn't think it would actually leak in the car wash. I was wrong.

Rock ON! Now you just need some baling wire worked in there somewhere.

Take a look at jcwhitney -- often they have weatherstripping repair materials and sometimes even the correct setup for some more common import cars.
