So the rabbit I was going to get next weekend died this morning. He was really sweet and calm and I'm just really bummed right now.
I'll get another rabbit from the same litter, but I really loved that one because he was so sweet and licked my chin the first time I held him. -

My favorite quote of today came from a substitute teacher. He's very brash, an older man who has long decided to not care what other people think of him, and is hilarious. He said to one of the boys in my class who was talking while he was trying to teach, "You're going to achieve, you little fuck!"

So I got a bacterial infection right under my ribs. I first noticed that there was a bump there on Tuesday night, hours before I went to sleep. There is a rampage of too-early mosquitos in my town, so I just shrugged it off. Then, around noon on Wednesday the bump started to hurt. Persepolis is one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. It's animated, but in no way is it a kid's movie. It is a coming of age story set in Iran. It's political and shows the oppressive social norms directed to women. I recommend it to anyone who loves a great, smart movie.
