1. I've finished the new Harry Potter book.

2. At about 4 am tomorrow I'm off to Canada for 18 days of driving and camping. I should be back August 12th.

I'm back from my family reunion outside of Antigo, in the land of no internet. Two of my cousins (ages 14 and 15) are visiting for a week. I will be out in Madison on Tuesday, July 10th to Wednesday, July 11th.

Anyone have ideas of fun and exciting activities for teenage cousins?

I'm in the lobby of my hotel, using their wireless. I've got a bug cushy chair facing the doors so I can see when Siri comes in. Then we're going to figure out what we're doing for breakfast. I think my backpack must have a portal to another dimension inside, or something. Either that or it's secretly the Tardis in disguise. Just when I think nothing more will fit in my backpack, I manage to cram in a half dozen more things.

I'm leaving tomorrow!!!

I've finished four out of my five classes, so I feel like I should be done. Unfortunately, my fifth class goes for another three weeks. Grr.

Interview with Milwaukee for a TAship in a little over 2 hours. Yikes!

I booked my flight home today. Yay for Aer Lingus having flights for 55 euros from Seville to Dublin and 248 euros from Dublin to Chicago!

The status on my Madison application changed today. It says:

We are sorry to inform you that you have not been admitted to the Graduate School at UW-Madison. A letter has been mailed.

Now I just have to wait to see if I got a TAship at Milwaukee.

I'm officially into UWM's Master of Arts in Foreign Language and Literature program with a double emphasis in Spanish and Translation!!!

Madison still says:
"Status Description: Your application has been received and is under review. Please refer to this page for updates."
