Wrapped up the year with Andrew Bird, who put on a really chill show at the 6th & I Historic Synagogue (which is easily my favorite venue, saw Grizzly Bear there two years ago). He busted out all these crazy Victrola-esque speakers everywhere...

Ever since ocicatsy and I heard about the cookies&cream cookies from Anthony's in San Fran described as "a cookie that tastes like cookie", we developed various notions of what this could be. Went to see Sufjan Stevens on Tuesday, totally unexpected--I'd heard he was doing a 'stage show' thing, but I didn't realize it would entail choreographed dancing/beach balls/costume changes/special movies.
