There was a tragedy involving someone at my play yesterday.  Basically, one of the cast members was in a fatal motorcycle accident.  Her husband was dead at the scene and she's now in hospital but not expected to live.  We were supposed to open in two days but she had a major part so now the opening has been pushed back.  Basically, someone else is

Oh hell mate, that's just bloody awful.

Yeah, it is. She died in hospital last night.

We're going to push on (the show must go on) but everyone was a bit fragile at tonight's full run without her. She loved animals so we've arranged for all proceeds from the opening night (including the bar profits) to go to the RSPCA.
