There is nothing worse than you telling your doctor some of your symptoms and he looking quizzically at you saying "Huh. That's odd."

What?!?!

He just knows you really well.

He's just pulling your leg.

He's trying to get a rise out of you.

Why not tell him *ALL* of your symptoms instead of just some of them? LOL

I don't think he knows me well enough to know I'm a hypochondriac. (I'm one of those odd people who is both a hypochondriac and iatrophobic, so I believe I've got every illness, but I refuse to see a doctor about any of them. Heh heh.)

In the end, I did tell him all my symptoms, and even then he was puzzled. He prescribed me some sort of cream because I don't think he knew what else to do.

It's easy to forget that doctors and such are just human too (even though they should be super humans considering they have people's lives at stake).

I hope you ended up okay.

I was thinking that, but then again, he's the only gay doctor in the city, and he's actually pretty nice.

Had a nurse take my vitals once and she backed away after taking my blood pressure. Like I was going to blow up or something. LOL

LOL

Did she really? That's funny. I know Martyn told a doctor once that he worked at the airport. This was a couple years back when the avian flu was "rampant". The doctor immediately took a step back as if Martyn was infected.
