1. Are you always so big and strong? What's your training secrets/routines? 2. How did you meet Martyn? 3. Which part of Canada did you grow up and any siblings?
1. No I wasn't always big and strong. That took a lot and I mean a lot of work both in the gym and at the table (the latter referring to eating a lot.) The secret is a hard work in the gym, just pushing your limits with weights and reps. :o) That and a hardgainer's routine.
2. We met in Vancouver's "macho" gay bar. *sigh*
3. I was born in the interior of BC and grew up in Vancouver.
It was the episode where Christina Applegate was in. You see the back of my head as I'm walking away down the hall and Johny Depp and a doctor are walking toward the camera. It was an all day shoot, but that was the only shot the made the cut.
It was filmed here, and they just went to a local extra company that had me in their database. If I wanted to, I could go to an extra agency today, sign up, and start appearing in different movies and shows.
If you had a niece who lived in Campbell River who was getting ready to look at colleges, and you really, REALLY wanted her to get off the (very nice but admittedly insular) world of Vancouver Island, where would you encourage her to look?
Keep in mind that said niece came from Port Hardy (you know, up there at the end of the world where the ferries leave from) and looks at Campbell River with its one Starbucks and 30 Tim Hortons and super-huge Big Canadian Superstore (or whatever it is that you folks up there call them) and thinks that Campbell River is, like, Little Manhattan.
If I had a niece in Campbell River, I would visit her as often as possible, because, Damn, it's nice up there. :o)
If she wants to go to college, I would suggest U-Vic, University of Victoria. It's an excellent university, AND it's in Victoria a super cool town with all the city amenities, AND it's on the island which means no taking expensive ferries to get home and parents can go and visit via a four hour drive, AND it's where all the hip and cool young people go. :o) In other words, it's not a huge city but a nice step up from a small town.
